DIY Turquoise Crushed Shell Tear Drop Pendant

Today I am going to show you a simple DIY tutorial for this wire wrapped turquoise shell pendant. You will need the basic tools: wire cutters, round nose pliers and a pair of flat nose pliers. Also knowing the basic wire wrap / jewelry techniques is a must... You will need to know these two first: How to make a simple loop,  and Covering a Briolette. Knowing how to open and close jump rings is good to know as well.

OK so now that you have that info... Want to actually make this exact piece? Purchase the DIY Kit  available on my etsy site. (while supplies last)

See below for what you will get...  If not then a similar pendant will do as well.

Wire for both white shell and teal pendant
4 - jump rings
1 - lobster clasp
1 - 18" copper chain
1 - Teal / Turquoise Shell pendant
1- Small white shell bead
1 - Swarovski Crystal bead
1 - Brass / copper head pin

First start out by wire wrapping your small shell bead. The images above are meant to guide you but if you still need more help check out these tutorials...  Then go on to create a simple loop crystal bead as shown below.

You will be wire wrapping this pendant in the same style as you would a briolette.

Now that you have all three pieces, time to jump ring them and slide them onto your copper chain, attach your lobster clasp for closure and you are ready to wear!
