Vision Board - Cali 2014
In the past few weeks I have heard the term "Dream Board" or "Vision Board" come up. I thought what the heck is that and after googling it... (Like I do a lot of things) I thought hey I do this all the time!! Mostly its small clippings of paper, magazine ads, pictures and notes that I pin to a cork board or put together in a frame. For those of you who are asking yourself what the heck is a vision board, I will save you the Google search.
A vision board is a collage of images, pictures and affirmations of your dreams and all of the things that make you happy. Vision boards are a great way to make you feel positive, and are helpful in getting you organized and keeping you motivated!
Now and days there are so many ways to make these vision boards, here's just a few:
• Physical Vision Boards: - find pictures, photos, quotes, any kind of printed items and pin them to a physical cork board or frame.
• Online Vision Boards: - Pinterest boards! I have lots of those... want some vision board samples? Click here . Online sites like https://www.dreamboard.com are some options. I use Polyvore for my "wardrobe vision" board all the time. As you might have seen in some previous posts.
• Phone Apps: - If want to be able to make these on the go when you're out and about there are a ton of FREE apps for your phone. The one I have on my phone right now is WishBoard.
• Digital Vision Boards: - Pictures, quotes, text, clip art and all things that you find online and put together in Photoshop or some kind of photo editing program. Below is my Digital Vision Board for the California Move.
Some other great ideas for vision boards...
Want to re-decorate or re-do a room? Pin swatches of paint, inspirational clippings, furniture images, fabric, textures and colors to help you visualize how you're room will look.
Garden and outdoor space vision boards are another great way to help you organize your thoughts and plans.
What's my next vision board? ...... hrmmm maybe I will make one this week for this upcoming kitchen reno! Cabinets are finished but there are still lots of things that need to be done.
